The lowdown on Cargo...
I tend to lean towards the natural look when it comes to make-up, mostly because I am too clumsy to apply anything that requires blending or mixing.My usual routine is lip gloss - yes, that's it, and if I'm in a particularly bold mood, I'll put on some mascara. But I do realize that it's time to add a splash of colour to my face.
I was kindly provided with some samples from Cargo Cosmetics - yes, it's the company that all the big make-up artists use on models, and of course, on those oh-so-fabulous superstars.
Cargo Cyprus Eye Shadow

Being a somewhat low-maintenance gal, eye shadow is not something that I wear on the regular. I can honestly say that the last time that I wore it was to a wedding over a year ago.
I opened the case and recklessly applied the shadow to my trembling eyelids. But guess what? It looked good. It added the little bit of drama that I was seeking.
The base colour is copper, and it has a beautiful gold tint that made my eyes stand out. My eyes will definitely be the center of attention when I enter the room…I hope! This will be added to my new make-up routine.

Lip gloss is probably the only item that I cannot leave home without. I was so excited to open the package and see this cute little case staring back at me. The silver case is sleek and ultra chic (the eye shadow also comes in this beautiful packaging). The case contains two colours: a shimmering lilac and a delicate seashell colour.
In a fit of anticipation, I used my fingers to apply the lip gloss (I suggest that you use a good lip brush). I was a little unsure of what it would look like, as the colours were really light in colour tint.
But rest assured, your grrl looked good. The colour was soft, but provided a subtle finish to the overall look.
I liked that the lip gloss did not have an overpowering effect, but gave that moist, kissable look I crave.
