What's Hot:
Springtime is a great time to be a girl!

Spring is my all-time favourite season. It lets me know that I can expect warm, sunny weather in the upcoming months. That means no more bulky sweaters, stretched out turtlenecks, or thermal underwear. Ohhh, I can't wait to wear body-flattering clothes again! And grrls, judging by the ultra-feminine trend in fashion, expect second looks from people that you meet on the street.

Wanna be the hottest grrl on the block? Take a look at some the latest styles for spring 2005.

Go fun and flirty this spring with some fun prints (left) or a light jacket with a ¾ length sleeve (right).
Colour
You know spring is right around the corner when you see mannequins draped in vibrant colours. Cool blues, mellow greens, girly pinks, and fresh whites take center stage in many trendy stores. You can easily update your wardrobe by purchasing a tank or a t-shirt in a vibrant hue.

Prints
Solid colours are nice, but if it is attention that you crave, I suggest that you don anything with a pattern. Think exotic, sexy and ethnic. The bolder the better!

Jackets
Jackets and blazers are also very trendy for the spring. This fashion trend has carried over from the previous season, but instead of heavy fabrics like tweed and wool, look for a shorter, more structured jacket in lighter fabrics like linen and cotton. Also, go for a ¾ length sleeve. This gives you ample room to show off your fabulous bracelets.

Jewelry
All I can say about the current trend in jewelry is that bigger really is better! Expect to see enormous bracelets in silver and wood, and chunky beaded necklaces in wood and turquoise.

Camisoles
For the past few months we've all been swimming in shapeless clothing, so it's about time to show some skin. For the sexy grrls who happily embrace their sexiness, try wearing a lacey camisole with of pair of jeans or a ruffled skirt. For the more demure grrl, you can still achieve a fashionable look by modestly wearing your camisole under a tapered jacket. Either way - hot!

Okay, so I've given you a few things to think about for your next shopping spree. Be focused, be calm, and shop!!! ¤ Michelle
