Deal of the Month:
C’est magnifique, no?!

I have personally crowned myself with the auspicious title, “Queen of Cheap Chic.” I’m no fashionista, but I do have the uncanny ability to spot a deal a mile away. Sometimes this happens by sheer luck, but it still counts!

As I was preparing for my eight-day tour of northern France, I realized that I needed to purchase a whole new wardrobe. Paris is the fashion capital of the world and I needed to look hot! I already bought cute capris, t-shirts and shorts for my trip, but I overlooked one thing. I needed dressier clothing to wear when I had gourmet dinners at nice restaurants, or if by chance, I met a cute French homme. (Ahem, how you doing, Siméon!)

After practically spending a month shopping for clothes, I no longer had the desire nor the energy to do more shopping. Having only two weeks left before my European vacation, I honestly wanted the clothes to magically appear and be neatly packed in my suitcase. Since that wasn’t even a possibility, off to the mall I went.

It was mid-June and stores were already having summer sales and my frugal sensibilities were all over that! I didn’t find much in the trendier stores, so I headed to Zellers to see if I could find some comfy casual capris and tees. I felt that it wouldn’t hurt to buy some more.

I didn’t find any capris, but I did spot tons of adorable summer dresses at bargain basement prices.

I have such a weakness for dresses. They are so cute and girly. I always feel incredibly sexy wearing them, so it’s not a surprise that I picked up a few of the outrageously affordable dresses and tried them on.

I settled on a black and white cinched at the waist, floral V-neck dress. It was so beautiful, so classic…so Charlotte from “Sex and the City”! I loved that it hugged every inch of my curves.

Guess how much I paid for this sexy number…a whopping $25 before taxes!! It was normally priced at $39.99 and I got it at a fraction of the price. Isn’t that insane?

This rather reasonably priced dress looked so amazingly sexy that I asked my new BFF Gary, to take a pic of me as I struck a pose in Montmartre. Thanks for the pic, Gary! ¤ Michelle
