What's Hot:
Heat up your wardrobe this fall...

Here's some ideas as to what's out in the malls these days.

The military look is everywhere you go. You won't see the camouflage colours anymore. It's the olive green colour on military inspired clothes with a feminine touch in the stores. For this trend, check out Garage Clothing to update your wardrobe at affordable prices.

We've all seen Jennifer Lopez style the long, skinny scarf, and now you'll see it in The Gap, American Eagle Outfitters, and many more. It's great for a dash of colour to your ensemble and something warm to wrap up in this season.

The varsity jacket has made a come back. Check out Roots to find this jacket in black, blue, or red. For $298.00 you can pick one up in stores with the letter "R," or add on an additional $50.00 for personalized initials.

There was talk on the runways and fashion magazines about the mod look. It was supposed to be the look for the fall, but I haven't seen anyone sporting it yet.

Oriental inspired clothing is still sticking around. Find this look in a fabulous black dress at Bedo. Also, visit Mexx and Guess for their take on the Oriental invasion.

Cropped pants are hot this season as well. Pair them with mid-calf to knee-high boots to complete the look. The Gap has been displaying these pants in commercials and store displays early in the season. I found my pair at Zara for $35.00.

Call me a victim of fashion, I now find the pointed-toe shoes and boots very attractive. In the last issue of Happygrrls, I couldn't see myself in pointed-toe shoes, but they just grew on me. They're sleek and they're everywhere. For this season, the shoes are pointier than the last. Aldo has a great selection of these boots. If you're still not comfortable with the pointed-toe, you'll still find the square-toe out there as well.

There are also some other funky style shoes in style this season as well. Did you see the boxing shoe? They look somewhat like a sneaker with thin soles and are calf-high. For a casual look, check out the sneakers by Diesel and Puma too.

Track suits are still a hit. They're great for the weekend or lounging around. For ones designed by Rocca Wear or Guess, you'll be paying about $200.00. Or visit Zara or Jacob for more affordable sets.

Happy shopping peeps! ¤ Phan
