Instead of heading to the local mall, I like to discover retro looks at second hand stores and vintage shops.

I am still feeling good about this discovery.
On an average trip to my most favourite store in the world, Value Village, I spotted the most beautiful red leather coat. Not getting my hopes up too high, I cautiously tried on the coat…and to my surprise it fit!!!
It is a hype, floor length belted coat, and very much something that Foxy Brown would have worn back in the day (the blaxploitation flick chick - not the rapper).
The find was $15.99, originally $19.99, but I was given a 20% discount because I donated some items to the store (it was an in store promotion - not a regular occurrence).
I have always wanted a long leather coat, and now I can step into the spring season in style. ¤ Michelle
