For skin care, smelling yummy, and hanging out...
MichelleWhen I was a teenager, I was lucky enough to have pimple-free skin, and I didn't have to worry about the dreaded acne curse. How lucky was I?? However, I did on occasion breakout with a scorching zit on my forehead. But the product that I would run to for relief was my bigass jar of Noxzema.
I loved slathering it on my face and actually feeling the sensation of my pores being cleansed. I experimented with expensive products, but they only left me with even more zits or a nasty rash. Which is not cool when you are trying to mack on some guy in your homeroom (well, that's a lie, I was too geeky and dorky to mack on anyone).
I started using Noxzema when I was 13 years old, and I have yet to find a product that has been consistently good. So if you are ever in the mood to change your skin care routine, or if you've tried every product on the shelf, try using Noxzema and see how it works for you. ¤ Michelle

With spring's arrival comes the fresh, cool, crisp, clean air. To have this fresh feeling all year-round, I suggest a couple of fragrances that you will arouse your senses.
The Healing Garden "Sheer Passion" (left)
This scent is soft and sweet. It's great to wear to work because it's so light. Your boyfriend will also enjoy the sweet, floral mist all over your body. The Gap "So Pink"
This scent is fresh with a citrus tang. Again, I love perfumes that are light, so this is one of my picks. Only those that are meant to share intimate moments with you will be able to savour this invigorating aroma. ¤ PhanChristine
I recently attended a friend's birthday party. But this was no ordinary get-together - we were all there for a purpose, and that purpose was to try to figure out which one of us was crazy enough to kill.
Yen, the head organizer, put together a murder-mystery game for the occasion. This may sound cheesy, but for the inner actor/actress in all of us, it's a chance to be someone else for the night. There are several murder-mystery theatres in Toronto, but what with their inflated prices and lack of audience interaction, it seemed more like a bore than entertainment. Yen did a little research on the Internet and found a script that could be tailored to the attending guests. The game was set in the 70's, so we also got a chance to dig into our closets (or buy some clothes, in my case) for the event.
Soon enough, we were e-mailed details on our characters, and hidden secrets that were not to be revealed unless prompted. I was a little chagrined about playing the dead guy's sister/housekeeper, but nonetheless, I looked forward to seeing how well we could unfold the game. The night was split into several rounds, in which Yen distributed more details and hidden secrets. I was seriously surprised at our coherent questioning, considering the amount of alcohol involved. It was also a treat to see our characters develop in the span of hours. This is slightly different from the norm, but it's the perfect thing to do when you're tired of the norm.
And if any of you are wondering - yes, I did get away with the perfect murder. ¤ C.Ho.
