For hair, body and face...
ChristineThis month's recommend comes from my hair, which breathed a great sigh of relief when I got a job and bought some conditioner. My hair would like to tell you that the best commercial conditioner out there is Pantene Pro-V, which cannot be matched by any other. My hair would also like to tell you that, after years and years of dying and blowdrying, it really wants a break from all that crap. I would like to interject here and say that that time will come, but not anywhere this decade.
After trying several conditioners, the one that delivered its "silky-smooth" promise was Pantene Pro-V, which carries an extensive line for all hair types. After my last trip to the hairdresser, she advised that I use a treatment as my hair was beyond dry and damaged (it usually takes me about half an hour to brush it after a shower). "Screw you, hairdresser!" my hair interjects. Anyway, she's right. But still keeping with my ghetto theme, I decided to skip out on the expensive treatment and buy a big bottle of Pantene Pro-V conditioner for colour-treated hair instead. Use it daily if your hair needs some TLC, or once a week if you already take good care of your hair. For optimization, leave in your hair while you lather up (so it absorbs in hair better) and rinse off very, very well (or else it will weigh down your hair). ¤ C.Ho.

No one likes acne. Even though I'm way past being a teenager, I noticed that I get pimples from time to time.
Instead of panicking and isolating myself from the rest of humanity, I have started to use Vitamin E to zap those suckers away!
Simply make a tiny hole in a Vitamin E capsule (or to make life simpler, just use Vitamin E oil) and squirt it over the pimple. No, it will not make your zit disappear into thin air, but once your pimple is gone, your skin will be scar-free. ¤ Michelle
PhanWhat do you think when you hear the word yoga?
I picture those strange flexible people twisting their bodies into awkward positions...definitely not for me. Then, one day I read that you can achieve long lean abs through yoga. "Hmm, I wonder if this works?" The next day I was at the mall scanning through all the yoga videos and I picked up one from Yoga Zone.
The result - wow! Yoga actually works up a sweat. The workout strengthens muscles, improves flexibility, and leads to a relaxing meditation session. I don't know if I have long lean abs yet, but I feel great after the workout. Yoga helps to relieve my physical, mental, and emotional stress. I think yoga's something you can get hooked on, too. ¤ Phan
